Hannah McClellan
Soil Conservationist
   (931) 716-3016

Hannah is a Tennessee native and grew up in Hickman County, located just west of Nashville.  Her career in agriculture stemmed from a childhood spent on her grandparents farm where they raised livestock and crops on land that’s been in her family for nearly a century.  With a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology and a Master’s Degree in Biosystems Engineering Technology, Hannah has spent the last 10 years of her career working for the UT Institute of Agriculture as a Research Associate in the Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science Department.  She has worked on numerous projects associated with the environmental impacts on natural resources from beef cattle, dairy, poultry, and cropping systems.  Her field experience has been complimented by a strong background in understanding complex monitoring systems and modeling using ArcGIS and other software to estimate long term effects.  Hannah’s extensive experience with natural resource assessments and background in agriculture will be a great addition to our field staff in the Centerville field office.
